i haf not blogged for 3 months! mi blog layout has nv been changed b4..mayb gonna touch on tat some time later when i'm free..e Junior Instructors Camp just ended todae evening..It was a damn fun experience lohz..let mi recap everything below..Went KAP a damn lot of times tis week lor..Monday morning went to eat breakfast at KAP after flag raising..Tuesday went Macdonalds behind Kallang mrt..Wednesday guai kia, went home eat unlike rest go west mall..Thursday went West Mall food court..Todae morning met at KAP for breakfast, then after debrief went KAP again for dinner..I was at the bottom of almost all the jokes todae evening at KAP, but nevermind...
Day 1:
Met our instructors, Mr. Jeffrey Chua and Mr. Fong Wai Lun
We're then split in2 2grps 4 our ice-breakers
I was under Wai Lun, and surprisingly most of the ppl in our grp were frm 6I, so itz fairly ez in e ice breakers
Played name chain...ball passing..loop de loop...birthday line-up...FUN!
Lunch
Went for wall climbing n abseiling...
tried wall climbing but couldnt reach e top tis time, dunno y..sad lohz..
abseiling went up e com lab block 5times, but din try..heights..
I bet wif hanlin saeing tat heather will climb down the staircase, n nt abseil down..in e end, i was right..lol..
Day 2:
Met at lakeside mrt..
thx michelle 4 stopping mi frm trying 2 walk 2 chinese garden miself instead of a whole bunch of us.. :)
cos' of some 'technical difficulties', we did dragonboating instead of kayaking as planned..sad lohz
then l8er went kallang oso did dragonboating..sianz..but luckily going in2 a much bigger boat
capsize drill rox lor..i went in after yuan guang started 'the ball rolling'..luckily din get cut by barnicles..ji heng..
being captain of the entire boat rox lor..sit there sing Ten Little Indian Boys while rest meng dragonboating..
Day 3:
Went 2 CDANS adventure center..
High ropes course..
1st try went up, the came down almost instantly..doing a free fall..
juz as i free-falled, started 2 rain cat n dogs..
formed human chain 2 send e bags 2 shelter, then of coz oso run 2 shelter l8er larh..
as rain falls, we did the presentation crap..
the after it stopped, got back 2 the high ropes course..
2nd try went up, came down again, but not as instantly..
started 2 feel i'm sho bai lei lohz..
after even SM Lee tried, then i went 4 final try..
but tis time, i made it! yes! damn happy..u might tink im mad, but im freaking happy juz completing 1 of the stations lohz..
then went on 2nd station..b4 i could finish the 2nd station, i decided 2 fall halfway cos' bo balance up there...sigh..shld haf finished it lohz..
then came the scary part..
Yi Ming decided to climb up one of the stations..Heather went 2 b belayer, gwen b rope manager, then i was the supporter..eemeng climbed up v. fast, n nt long l8er, she said she falling liaoz..somehow when falling, heathy n gwen let of the rope n then...
BAMN! Yi Ming fell from about 3-5m to the ground..OMFG! luckily she's fine, if nt 3 of us will regret 4 life lohz.. thk god man...
Day 4:
Started the day at CDANS wif the low elements
quite fun, just a little scolding frm Wai Lun..Long breath he has..
Feel sho bad for Si Kai and Mag kena scolded like sai..
Rumours started spreading todae..Mich-Tommy...Fang-Mac...
then i went 2 dental..
had 2 take a taxi bac 2 CDANS so could reach in time..
Then had an activity which we failed..
We were all blind folded and were given 2 tasks..We then formed a circle all holding hands..Jeffrey created a storyline n said we gotta use tat rope in the middle of the circle 2 help us finish our task..all 51 of us had the rope in our hands in like 10-15mins..but the 2nd task, forming a trapezium was darn difficult..sad lohz..a rectangle is a trapezium as long as there is one parallel to another line, but no one believed jia liang, so sad..we were scolded for not accomplish the task well..then we were given another chance 2 form a rectangle..HanLin came up wif a wonderful idea of some1 walking ard the whole shape 2 c if itz a rectangle, and I was appointed..Unfortunately, I didnt have time to finish checking all the 4 corners, thus the rectangle doesnt loook like one at all...sad...
Day 5:
Met in skool..
Morning was lesson in first aid..
after lunch, we tried drawing out the itinery of a 2day-1nite camp..
watched a cute movie after tat abt a jamaican team trying 4 the olympics..
sho cute lor..the egg..lol..
jeffrey..wai lun..yapms had long speeches for the debrief..was like more than 1hr..sigh..
