It's been 1 week since 1 haf blogged, so I decided to blog again!:) In the week, besides the English Comprehension paper and Maths test paper, I have also gotten back a few more. English Composition Paper(Common test) : 17/30 and Chinese Composition test(common test) : 48/70. The formal letter writing was very disappointing. The marker gave me 19 at first, then reduced it to 17 later. That 2 marks sure meant alot in my grades. All the other tests like the Humanities and Science were over in the past week. Mr Chew said that the Science papers will be released on Thursday, after our sabbaticals, quite scary. So currently it stand as English: C5 Maths:A1 Chinese:A1 Science: A1 or A2 Integrated Humanities: C5,C6,D7 Computer Studies: A1. So the only homework now are Computer assignment and piles of Maths worksheets to be handed in in Week 9. Ms Wun is a wonderful Maths teacher, finish teaching Quadratic Equation within 40minutes and Simultaneous Equation in 1hour. Sigh..
Combined Sports Meet got off to a bad start with 800m. I think thats the result of the lowering of your v02 max right? Lactic acid flowed in right from the start, bad. Then there was Yi-Ming sms-ing me saying, "At least u werent last rite?:-0"... 4x100m was indeed comical. I waited at the starting point for like half an hour, chatting with Jun Wen, Ceyong and Lin Chen. Did that waste energy?Haha... Then only at the start did I realise that we didnt need to use starting block, then does that mean that my class should put Jonathan instead of me?Lol...So by the time I past my baton to Bryan and rested for a while, I turned and realised that the had race ended, with Wei Ming ending in third. Instantly, I thought 2F got 1st, 2K got 2nd and we won 2L. But when I went to take a close look, Stanley finished 1st and Zhao Zhuo finishing 2nd, then where did 2F go? Then only was I told that Leqiao did not finish the race... They said that Kenneth ran out of lane after passing on the baton to Stanley and stopped right in front of Leqiao, and when Leqiao got the baton, he bumped into him. At the 300m mark, I still thought Yi Kai bumped into Kenneth and the race was not affected, but who knew that it turned the other way round. So my class got 2nd and 2G was lucky being able to get a 3rd, with 2K disqualified. But Kenneth told me that he was bumped into when running at full speed(100m speed) and didnt purposely want to stop there. It ended up with me wondering why everyone was so concerned about the race and not about Kenneth injuring himself and causing the skin on his left shin to drop off after the friction caused by the fall.
Then there was the Combined athletes dinner at Hwa Chong Junior College. The ice-breaking game wasnt creative at all, but it surely did serve its purpose. Then the 2nd game was far more creative, with the group standing in one line, with a girl intersecting two boys. We were then asked to use our mouths and pass food to one another. So its like guys saliva on one end and girls saliva on one end. I thought I was bad at passing the food to Sarah, but Song Jun turned out even worse at passing. Sorry Sarah!;) When Song Jun was passing the gummy on to another girl, he bit off half of it and the other half was continued to be passed down. Doesnt it mean that the passes between the people after Song Jun have to be more careful not to drop them and lips must be closer?Haha... The water bombs wasnt fun as they were all thrown at the same time and the fun was over in a few secs. The Star search was also quite fun, with Yi Peng acting damn sissy, but sadly, he still lost out to Timothy, which was far more creative.
My right knee is so painful, therefore resulting in not being able to take part in today's 2nd Allcomers Meet. What a waste...
