I have not blogged for 2 long weeks, since the end of the sabbaticals. A lot happened in the past few weeks, and its time to sum them all up.
Our term progress report was released and it was quite ironic for me. I was quite happy, but quite sad too. As expected, I was sad due to the miserable amount of ACE points I have accumulated so far. I felt like crying when I had to face the fact that I had no ACE points for the past 2 terms for Higher Chinese and Mathematics. By the way, ACE is points that you can attain through extra effort put in besides the curriculum activities. It's virtually impossible to get Maths ACE points! Any suggestions? The only hope for me now is the Maths Olympiad on June 3, which may let me get a handful of them. EL: 62 HCL: 76 MA: 90 LSS: 60 CS: 80 IH: 58, msg 2.67. It seems that it is destined that there will not be Bio lessons for me next year... My class's msg this term is dreadful, why? Yuen Mun msg 6.666666666..........
During school hours, we had our End-of-term-activites today. The domino challenge the Sec 1s was not that fantasic maybe due to the insufficient time they had to prepare. My group, led by Bryan and Chang-J, did a play regarding a little short and thin boy trying to get into Judo with the help of Merry Friends Body Alteration Services. Bryan was the cute nurse and he's really a
chio bu! With his tight dress and the out-of-shape artificial women bodyparts, he was really hot and appealing. If you dont believe, check out Darius's N3200. We ended up with a runners-up prize, losing to 2L by just half a mark! We got 80.5 and they got 81... They had better coordination, and just managed to win the hearts of the judges, showing that they had put a lot of effort. We were not to be blamed, as we started only on Wednesday. We also did not have Adrain to coordinate everything as he injured himself and was sent to hospital yesterday. It was a pity Jie Hao's group did not do well and screwed up on stage. Dispite the huge amount spent on the props, I guess the judges did not really understand what was happening on stage, when Joshua's voice could not be heard at all. They said that a lot of them were fooling around and laughing on stage, causing the whole thing to be in chaos.
No 400m hurdles for me this year in Nationals!:@ Everyone is training the C boys height of 0.840m, whereas Min Zhe is training the B boys height of 0.914m... 0.914m is actually not really that high, its just that I dont dare to stretch out my left leg when I see the hurdle before me. Wee Teck crossed just a few centimetres above that height, just perfect. I wonder if I can do it as well as him ;) Let's hope nothing serious happens to Yi Kai before the Nationals...
I am leaving Singapore tommorrow for Malaysia and coming back on Monday. I am there to attend a wedding of my elder cousin... I was wondering if I can write a review on the huge event and chalk up some ACE points, haha...
