I have not blogged for 2 long weeks, since the end of the sabbaticals. A lot happened in the past few weeks, and its time to sum them all up.

Our term progress report was released and it was quite ironic for me. I was quite happy, but quite sad too. As expected, I was sad due to the miserable amount of ACE points I have accumulated so far. I felt like crying when I had to face the fact that I had no ACE points for the past 2 terms for Higher Chinese and Mathematics. By the way, ACE is points that you can attain through extra effort put in besides the curriculum activities. It's virtually impossible to get Maths ACE points! Any suggestions? The only hope for me now is the Maths Olympiad on June 3, which may let me get a handful of them. EL: 62 HCL: 76 MA: 90 LSS: 60 CS: 80 IH: 58, msg 2.67. It seems that it is destined that there will not be Bio lessons for me next year... My class's msg this term is dreadful, why? Yuen Mun msg 6.666666666..........

During school hours, we had our End-of-term-activites today. The domino challenge the Sec 1s was not that fantasic maybe due to the insufficient time they had to prepare. My group, led by Bryan and Chang-J, did a play regarding a little short and thin boy trying to get into Judo with the help of Merry Friends Body Alteration Services. Bryan was the cute nurse and he's really a chio bu! With his tight dress and the out-of-shape artificial women bodyparts, he was really hot and appealing. If you dont believe, check out Darius's N3200. We ended up with a runners-up prize, losing to 2L by just half a mark! We got 80.5 and they got 81... They had better coordination, and just managed to win the hearts of the judges, showing that they had put a lot of effort. We were not to be blamed, as we started only on Wednesday. We also did not have Adrain to coordinate everything as he injured himself and was sent to hospital yesterday. It was a pity Jie Hao's group did not do well and screwed up on stage. Dispite the huge amount spent on the props, I guess the judges did not really understand what was happening on stage, when Joshua's voice could not be heard at all. They said that a lot of them were fooling around and laughing on stage, causing the whole thing to be in chaos.

No 400m hurdles for me this year in Nationals!:@ Everyone is training the C boys height of 0.840m, whereas Min Zhe is training the B boys height of 0.914m... 0.914m is actually not really that high, its just that I dont dare to stretch out my left leg when I see the hurdle before me. Wee Teck crossed just a few centimetres above that height, just perfect. I wonder if I can do it as well as him ;) Let's hope nothing serious happens to Yi Kai before the Nationals...

I am leaving Singapore tommorrow for Malaysia and coming back on Monday. I am there to attend a wedding of my elder cousin... I was wondering if I can write a review on the huge event and chalk up some ACE points, haha...

Science was bad, really really bad. On the last page of the paper, there were a 3mark and a 4mark question, and I got 0 out of that 7marks. 30/50...My MCQ was the one that pulled me up with 14/15. Then the matching gave me 6/6. As you might have guessed, I got only 10/29 in the short answer part :(. So now it stands as, English:C5 Maths:A1 Chinese:A1 Science:B4 Computer:A1 Humanities: -, 12/5, msg 2.4.

The Scuba Diving course ended yesterday. We took our final exam and I ony got 34/50. I re-took the test and got an amazing 45/50! :) So there is only two more weeks to the June holidays, which also means two more weeks to the timetrial for the selection of the National Track and Field Meet 2004.

I went to see the doctor yesterday. It seems that my knee injury is a very serious matter. Its unfortunate that it was the cartridge in the knee that was hurt. It is a soft tissue, which means that it takes a longer time to recover than normal injuries, as it is not a bone. So all I can do in the mean time is to do some upper body weights, which is a very good option, considering that my upper body is still very weak. Let's hope it recovers faster...

On Mother's Day, I went to visit Jacques, as he was holding his 1 month celebration. He is so cute, well, any other baby is cute...

Scuba diving so tiring, but fun. We tried out the snorkels yesterday and finally got our hands onto the 'real' equipment. I think we had at least half an hour underwater exchanging hand signs with our instructor and trying out new things without even coming out of water! It is sure cool. Others may think that it is stupid as it is in the school swimming pool, but they just dont understand how fun it can get. Only of Friday will we be going to open waters and have a first hand experience in diving. It is astonishing to see me getting tanned so easily. It boils down to "Why must we wear T-shirt while running?" haha...

2K had their Science papers returned yesterday. Although the paper was a piece of cake, but they said that the marking was so strict that it could even fail you. At last we are getting the scarier side of Mrs Teo Chin Chew(teocc)...

My brother got his new ez-link card today. It is a bad picture because he closed his eyes. He complained to my mother," The light was so bright, so I immediately close my eyes lor". He was quite stupid, asking, "What is the M under the gender?", but you can't really blame a primary one kid for asking this type of questions...

It's been 1 week since 1 haf blogged, so I decided to blog again!:) In the week, besides the English Comprehension paper and Maths test paper, I have also gotten back a few more. English Composition Paper(Common test) : 17/30 and Chinese Composition test(common test) : 48/70. The formal letter writing was very disappointing. The marker gave me 19 at first, then reduced it to 17 later. That 2 marks sure meant alot in my grades. All the other tests like the Humanities and Science were over in the past week. Mr Chew said that the Science papers will be released on Thursday, after our sabbaticals, quite scary. So currently it stand as English: C5 Maths:A1 Chinese:A1 Science: A1 or A2 Integrated Humanities: C5,C6,D7 Computer Studies: A1. So the only homework now are Computer assignment and piles of Maths worksheets to be handed in in Week 9. Ms Wun is a wonderful Maths teacher, finish teaching Quadratic Equation within 40minutes and Simultaneous Equation in 1hour. Sigh..

Combined Sports Meet got off to a bad start with 800m. I think thats the result of the lowering of your v02 max right? Lactic acid flowed in right from the start, bad. Then there was Yi-Ming sms-ing me saying, "At least u werent last rite?:-0"... 4x100m was indeed comical. I waited at the starting point for like half an hour, chatting with Jun Wen, Ceyong and Lin Chen. Did that waste energy?Haha... Then only at the start did I realise that we didnt need to use starting block, then does that mean that my class should put Jonathan instead of me?Lol...So by the time I past my baton to Bryan and rested for a while, I turned and realised that the had race ended, with Wei Ming ending in third. Instantly, I thought 2F got 1st, 2K got 2nd and we won 2L. But when I went to take a close look, Stanley finished 1st and Zhao Zhuo finishing 2nd, then where did 2F go? Then only was I told that Leqiao did not finish the race... They said that Kenneth ran out of lane after passing on the baton to Stanley and stopped right in front of Leqiao, and when Leqiao got the baton, he bumped into him. At the 300m mark, I still thought Yi Kai bumped into Kenneth and the race was not affected, but who knew that it turned the other way round. So my class got 2nd and 2G was lucky being able to get a 3rd, with 2K disqualified. But Kenneth told me that he was bumped into when running at full speed(100m speed) and didnt purposely want to stop there. It ended up with me wondering why everyone was so concerned about the race and not about Kenneth injuring himself and causing the skin on his left shin to drop off after the friction caused by the fall.

Then there was the Combined athletes dinner at Hwa Chong Junior College. The ice-breaking game wasnt creative at all, but it surely did serve its purpose. Then the 2nd game was far more creative, with the group standing in one line, with a girl intersecting two boys. We were then asked to use our mouths and pass food to one another. So its like guys saliva on one end and girls saliva on one end. I thought I was bad at passing the food to Sarah, but Song Jun turned out even worse at passing. Sorry Sarah!;) When Song Jun was passing the gummy on to another girl, he bit off half of it and the other half was continued to be passed down. Doesnt it mean that the passes between the people after Song Jun have to be more careful not to drop them and lips must be closer?Haha... The water bombs wasnt fun as they were all thrown at the same time and the fun was over in a few secs. The Star search was also quite fun, with Yi Peng acting damn sissy, but sadly, he still lost out to Timothy, which was far more creative.

My right knee is so painful, therefore resulting in not being able to take part in today's 2nd Allcomers Meet. What a waste...

I got back my Maths and English test. Maths was quite ok, just that the setter of the paper exposed my weakness in linear equation, thus resulting in 36/40. English test was very bad. I got 61/100 for that comprehension paper, just because my summary got 13/25! :@ My msg now is currently at 2.0, but expect my Humanities and Science to pull me down again. This term's acids, bases and salts is definately hard. The geog test I had yesterday was mostly crap. It wasnt about what she teached, but more on your general knowledge, or maybe you can just call it a 'luck' test. If you are lucky, A1, unlucky, F9. I think the History test tomorrow will be about the same. But, tomorrow's will be more on your speed of writing rahter than what you memorized. I think I will just study the Pacific War, which will surely be tested. Sigh... I am still trying to negotiate with Ms Hoa to change the date of the Literature test. Let's hope it will be changed to Friday, instead of the Thursday she had set. If that is the case, it will be a win-win situation. We can concentrate on studying for Science on Wednesday night, and study Literature on Thursday night.

Our 'Tv addiction' progressed to the semi-finals! :) After all the tests, which ends this week, I must start to prepare for the next round of our project and the MRP. Both projects' survey must have their first draft sooner or later...

Hurdling has been going on quite fine, just that I really lack speed. Although I do quite well at speed training, I just cant perform well in 100m. The timing on the track is really pathetic. Zhang lao shi says it takes time to get that feeling of sprinting back, but it just keeps me wondering how long it will be. I am running the 800m on the 8th. Its a long time since I did a 800m, I wonder if I can still follow Stanley. Some people say Stanley's not running 800m, some say he is. Like that how do you expect me to plan out my race? Then there comes Jackson, who keeps on discouraging you from you on the final day, so that he will have one less competitor and I can lend him my spikes. Sigh... I wish I can get my Zoom rival tomorrow :D Then 800m use Asics hyperpower or Nike zoom rival? If I use zoom rival, will I lend Jackson the hyperpower? Muahahahaha...
