Saturday's training was soooooooooooo fun. We first had half an hour of hurdles, which was quite ok. He praised Jingbo for the way he cross the hurdle, but "Minzhe hai3 ke2 yi3"... After that was where the fun part started. 1. Standing board jump into the sand pit for 10 times 2. Standing 1-legged jump, 10 times for each leg 3. Run for 2 steps then jump for 10 times 4. Run for 4 steps then jump for 10 times 5. Run for 9 steps then jump for 10 times. Training ended as soon as that as it was clear that we were dead tired.
Today's Maths test was quite fine. The question most probably I will get wrong should be the one regarding the vertical line. It was one of the few times I got to check my paper in a test, in fact since PSLE. I managed to point out a few careless mistakes, heng ahh...
During training today, we practised using starting blocks. We were separated into 2 batches as 8 lanes were definately not enough. I was in the second batch with the other seniors. I found it quite funny that I kept losing out to them in the first four times. Then, Lawrence told me that my starting block was way too far behind the line, thus I was not bending that forward. I went to check and to my amazement, the block was put 2 feet away from the line, which was supposed to be 1 1/2. It was no use telling Jun Lin off, so I just tried my best to do better in the next times. It all ended up quite ok, with either Kenneth, Lin Chen or me being last, evenly spread out between the 3 of us.
Now, I still have my Projects Day to work on. The prelims are on Wednesday. Are we prepared? I hope so... There is still ting xie on Wednesday before the event, and Science test on Thursday. Lets hope nothing goes wrong in the tight schedule...
