Saturday's training was soooooooooooo fun. We first had half an hour of hurdles, which was quite ok. He praised Jingbo for the way he cross the hurdle, but "Minzhe hai3 ke2 yi3"... After that was where the fun part started. 1. Standing board jump into the sand pit for 10 times 2. Standing 1-legged jump, 10 times for each leg 3. Run for 2 steps then jump for 10 times 4. Run for 4 steps then jump for 10 times 5. Run for 9 steps then jump for 10 times. Training ended as soon as that as it was clear that we were dead tired.

Today's Maths test was quite fine. The question most probably I will get wrong should be the one regarding the vertical line. It was one of the few times I got to check my paper in a test, in fact since PSLE. I managed to point out a few careless mistakes, heng ahh...

During training today, we practised using starting blocks. We were separated into 2 batches as 8 lanes were definately not enough. I was in the second batch with the other seniors. I found it quite funny that I kept losing out to them in the first four times. Then, Lawrence told me that my starting block was way too far behind the line, thus I was not bending that forward. I went to check and to my amazement, the block was put 2 feet away from the line, which was supposed to be 1 1/2. It was no use telling Jun Lin off, so I just tried my best to do better in the next times. It all ended up quite ok, with either Kenneth, Lin Chen or me being last, evenly spread out between the 3 of us.

Now, I still have my Projects Day to work on. The prelims are on Wednesday. Are we prepared? I hope so... There is still ting xie on Wednesday before the event, and Science test on Thursday. Lets hope nothing goes wrong in the tight schedule...

Ms Hoa didnt come today. So Mr Chew brought us to watch the upper secondary's consortium assembly. They were discussing End-of-term-activities(EOTA). Amazingly, the sec 3s EOTA was more fun and they got to choose between paint ball and laser shooting, whereas the sec 4s had their EOTA in the form of class picnic at East Coast Park. For my EOTA, I think I will be choosing either fencing or bowling...

Chinese test was quite fine. As planned, I chose the Bao Zhang Bao Dao. It was about some people saying that the acts that the actors and actresses did were too dangerous and full of violence. Luckily I watched the show, which my parents objected due to my lack of time for homework. I just hope it is possible I can get 50 and above, which is quite resonable. I wont fail, because I got the format right... So... Hopefully... *grins*

Yesterday, when I tapped my card after stepping onto the bus 171, I realised that my card had 25 cents left, which means that I cant board the train at City Hall MRT startion later! But with negative 10 cents in my card, I was still allowed to board the train. I was really amazed and glad that I can now go home... When I arrived at Tanah Merah MRT station, I asked the customer serrvice's people regarding the negative values. She said that as long as you still have a positive amount of money inside your card, you would be allowed to get in. So I am now still wondering if its the machine accidentally let me in or the women was crapping when she dont know anything... Sigh...

It was raining heavily today in the afternoon, which started at around 2.30pm. We did a lot of 'cute' excercises at Kah Kee Hall, then proceeded to the track when the rain stopped at around 4.30pm. The performance on the track was slightly affected by the tiring exercises, sadly. My 30m is just as fast as the sec 1s! Maybe they lost out by just a body's length, haha...

I just played Pikaball a few minutes ago, after Jonathan sent me the application. Although it was abit childish, it was still quite fun because my brother could play with me, unlike the other games. Anyone interested might want to get it from me, haha...

Next Monday still got a Maths test. Hopefully can do better than the C5 previously, which was very sad indeed. This weekend still got the Maths worksheet to do as a revision, Ting xie coming up on Tuesday, Science worksheet on transportation in living organisms, Literature essay on Animal farm, History worksheet, preparing for coming test. Its very likely I will get my Chinese test and Computer test results back on Monday, hope I fare well...

At last, my brother got chicken pox! He hasnt been going to school for 2 days already and that seems to be going to continue for 2 weeks! =) Then when he heard we are asking the teacher to assign someone to take over the position of monitor, he was about to cry. I think it was because he thoght the change was permanent and not temporarily, how stupid of him!

Signed up for scuba diving as a sabbatical yesterday. But the situation seems quite bleak now as only 11 people has signed up for that course, but the minimum class size for the class to commence is 30, which is a far cry from 11. Sad. I am going to ask Mr Terng about it tomorrow, if not my term 2 sabbatical is as good as gone.

Yesterday's training was quite ok until it came to the time when Kenneth left and only I was left with Zhang lao shi. Did some abs training, and till now it is still damn pain. It seems my abs is really weak, sigh...

Today, we had 2 periods of Ms Wun. She was insane and gave out alot of worksheets for us to complete. I think she is really mad about the test, which is coming next Monday. But as the saying goes 'Practice makes perfect'. With a low IQ like mine, I think a little lesser worksheets would be enough and more beneficiary to me, as I dont need to wake up and remember I havent finish my Maths worksheets and tire myself out.

I just passed up the MRP Literature Review to Ms Teo today. Hope she accepts what leon and I have done, as she said yesterday, 'You all are on the right track'. Will my 7.5/10 achieved in the proposal be pulled down by this? I sincerely hope not...

I think this time I dont crap so much. Tomorrow still got Chinese common test, luckily its on compo. I think I will trust He lao shi and write Bao Zhang Bao Dao tomorrow. Gotta go and study the format now, so bye!

I spent my whole day yesterday doing the compo, all thanks to Swee Kheng and Ren Yang, who didnt do them in the previous round. Went to swim in the afternoon and time passed quickly. Watched the NKF charity show, which was quite ok, just that my family feels that we can do charity in a lot of ways, but not in this charity show. You can say that my whole family is one the few Singaporeans 'affected' because of the releasing of the amounts of money NKF still possess. Just a little comment, I feel that what Zoe did was all planned out and not real at all, sadly.

I started the day off with a Computer test, which was quite alright. And for the few times our class received a B for conduct. Then during the fifth period, He lao shi returned us the Chinese test papers. I ended up getting 86, a mere improvement from the 79.5% I had last term. It now seems that getting A1 for Chinese this term is quite a realistic goal for me. Then in the afternoon was the English Common test. They asked you to write a formal letter complaining about your neighbourhood, which was quite fine. Before the test, I heard from Yee Jiunn that Mrs Choi also asked them to study informal letter writing, whereas Ms Hoa only asked us to concentrate on formal letter writing. It seems like their teacher wants them to study more than what has been expected from them in the test. Will her decision benefit them? I will all be reflected in the grades...

Today's training was real bad. During all the sprints, I was assigned to make up a group with Le Qiao, Gregory(long time no see president come down for training) and Kenneth. As expected, I came in last in all the 16 times. How I wish my leg's frequency would just go up and not be left behind...Well, at least running last with them is better than running with the Sec 1s, as I would be able to see the difference in standards and try to improve on my running...

There is still MRP... Geog worksheet... Science worksheet... Maths worksheet... History file... Projects Day...

My tagboard is so active, I am so glad. Its evitable for me to write in proper english, because I am supposed to make it presentable and easier to read for teachers, haha.

Sigh, our class conduct is getting worse and worse. Right on thursday, we already got 3 Cs. Ms Tan Hui San, our Malay teacher, gave us two and Ms Hoa gave us another one as we were late for her lesson, making her really mad. Lets hope it improves in the coming week and not get another scolding from He lao shi because of our poor class conduct.

Thursday training was totally insane. Zhang lao shi asked me to try hurdles using right leg, which is quite uncomfortable for me as I always use my left leg to jump. Luckily, I could at least jump through the centre using my right leg=), but when running 5 hurdles, which is 200m, I did not dare to use my right leg to cross. Hope I can conquer this probia in the coming weeks and run as comfortably in the coming weeks...

That stupid dental made me miss the entire Maths period, recess, and the 1st period of the 2 Science lessons. They already called me there when Diyou, Xing Han and Eu Jin have not even started, which I feel was quite stupid. The tests are coming soon and I dont wish to miss them, afraid that I will do badly this term. I missed the entire experiment during the Science lesson, which I regretted so much now...

On thursday, I slept at 10pm, just right after I reached home, because of the replacement lesson I took in The Learning Lab, which was from 7.15pm-9.15pm. After sleeping for a while, I woke up at 2am to study for my Chinese test on Friday. It was quite smooth and I studied till 6am, before I left the house for school. The test was fairly well, and I hope to at least get an A1 for it. Through some experience last term, I realised that I must do really well for the class test, as I am very poor at the common test, which is composition. Last term was a 79.5, hope this time it would be better. Heard from Kai Ming that she already marked finish the whole paper except the Zao ju, when he went to see her. Hope she will release the results on Monday. Didnt sleep for an unbelievable 21 hours, until I slept at 11pm least night. As you might have guessed, I woke up at 11am today morning, sleeping an unbelievable 12 hours, haha.

Todays 400m heats was quite fine, but maybe I did so badly due to the Chinese test which came up on Friday. But it is not as excuse for doing such a timing like 65.36s..It was a case of I wanted to go faster, but my feet can attain that kind of frequency! If you let me run that kind of speed for another 100m, I am sure able to do it for you. Funny.. Only Yi Kai qualified as the second fastest timing with 57.32s. I was wondering how come he is so famous in NYGH track & field, is it because he has a crush in there? Haha.. Only won Zuo Ming in my heats, but well, at least I didnt finish last. But I heard from him that he didnt do his best, I wonder why, but I am also off-form today, so never mind.

I am going to visit the cute little Jacques ! So excited. There are so many homework this weekend that I dont seem able to remember them all..Sad..Next week I still have an English test on Monday and a Chinese test on Thursday..

Jacques is born! Finally, Uncle Kalvin's wife has given birth. At first, the doctor predicted that he would be born on the 16th, which is my father's birthday. But in the end, he was born on 12th. I am going to visit him a few days later, as I have to prepare for a Chinese test, which is on 16th.

Yesterday, during the double Science period, we did a practical, which was very fun. We were asked to put a quail egg into dilute hydrochloric acid to soften the shell. After looking at the melted shell, we all felt like puke-ing(haha). After that, we were allowed to take it out and feel it, which was obviously were bouncy. Then, we put it in a cup of water and left it in the science lab, and then went to take a look at it today. The length of the egg is now bigger(3.5cm-4cm) and more bouncy. Obviously, osmosis had taken place to cause the change. So fun! So sad Mr Chew did not let us take it out of the science lab, thus having to throw it away into the rubbish bin in the science lab=(

After signing in to MSN, Yuen Mun starting spamming me. Its damn idiotic. Luckily, my computer was only slowed down, never hang. I have edited a song just for him, as I am seeking revenge(Human nature, cant blame me). Muahahahaha! After blocking him, I started doing my MRP, which was quite pathetic...

Today, after maths lesson, I went to Ms Wun all by myself after everyone left for PE. In my hands was the Maths retest paper. She marked me a 27/40, which was supposed to be 30/40. After looking it for a while, the she found out what I had been claiming is correct. So sad it does not affect my grades, which will still be a B4, as the highest you can get for retest is 60..But I am still glad that I actually know my maths better now.

Then during PE, we were supposed to be doing the NAPFA test 5 stations. It turned out to be a nightmare for me. First was the sit-ups, which was quite slack, as 43 is easily attainable. Then comes the shuttle run, which I reacted very slowly. I think Zhang lao shi sounded the whistle, 1sec later then I started running, which was very sad. In the end, the 10.4s cost me a B. Then there was my standing board jump. Luckily for me, I am still 13 years old, if not my 218cm would be a B already, haha. After that was the one I was most afraid of, Sit and Reach! I stretched as far as I could, but only reached a pathetic 27cm, which was D. All my hopes for a Gold is now gone just because of that D! But who cares, I am not in gymnastics. Lastly, it was the incline pull up. I was under Chen lao shi, so suae... He held me there for quite long before he let me start, so my muscles was straint and could only pull 25 times, B! 2 years later, I will be doing the actual pull up(I only can do 4 now=( )...So for now, I have 20 points, having to run the 2.4km next week during PE lesson, as I missed it the week before. Lets see if I can get an A...

After school, I went to see Mr Chew regarding our projects day project. He offered us a piece of advice, which was to either consider Drug addiction or Computer addiction. Although I told him a lot of people did computer addiction before, he said everyone only touched the skin, did not go in depth. So Jonathan, Jie Hao, Kai Ming, quickly decide! He want our powerpoint done by next Monday! The Preliminary round is on the 28th, so buck up, guys!

Yesterday, I spent my whole evening helping Jared edit his blog. Everything went right in a few moments, but I accidentally lost the codes for his tagboard. Hope he doesn't get too angry...

Today's lessons was quite ok, with Ms Teo and Ms Ho not in school, which leaves us with 2 more Science periods with Mr Chew. This term's acids, bases and salts are quite difficult and takes quite a lot of skill to manage its different chemicals. Glad that he went through it again with us for me to get a better picture of the whole thing. I also just realised that Potassium hydroxide is an alkali, how silly of me! During English period, we got another descriptive writing composition to do by Ms Hoa. It was all thanks to Swee Kheng and Ren Yang, who didn't do the descriptive essay, which was supposed to be handed up by today.

We ended lessons at 12.50pm to go and went to cheer for our C division table tennis team. Bryan played quite well and defeated the Josephians hands down. I met some old classmates like Calvin and Zhao Dong there, which were our opposition. Sadly, it clashed with the Sports Day's heats. We were very anxious, fearing that we would be late for the heats. Especially for me, I had to run the 400m finals. Still, at 3.30pm, the teacher refused to let us leave the arena before the whole event ended. This was one of the few times 2J was so rebellious, and all of us ran out of Chung Cheng High School without the teacher's consent =P.

By the time we reached the school, it was already 4.30pm. I was told that 400m finals had ended and the teachers scheduled me to run on another day. I was totally astonished at hearing Leon's and Kenneth's 61s. All I can hope for now is just securing fourth place and earn more points for my class, but it still boils down to my condition on Wednesday to do that timetrial. Without the competitve spirit around me on Wednesday, I doubt I will do a fast timing, sigh...

Here comes our 16 by 200m finals. This is the time when 2J can show their class spirit through action on the field. Everything went wrong from the start, with Wei Ming and Teng Seng at a rehearsal in the Auditorium. Although they promised the will still run for the class, we were all afraid that they couldn't make it in time. This caused us to beg Jia Ju to run, with Bryan the other substitute. He gave us lots of excuses, but in the end the class still managed to convince him that he should play a part for the class. All these were useless when Wei Ming and Teng Seng suddenly popped up at the right time. Everyone was relieved, and I went into my mental preparation for the race itself. As I was psyching myself up, I suddenly thought of reshuffling the positions in such a manner that we might win. Our last 3 runners were alot faster than our first 4 runners. I am not sure why everyone headed my advice to change Bryan's and Teng Seng's place, but it sure ended up as a wonderful tactic. So in the end, the positions are 1. Jonathan 2. Xing Han 3. Jared 4. Bryan 5. Eu Jin 6. Yong Lin 7. Shaun 8. Min Zhe 9. Arthur 10. Shuen Chun 11. Darius 12. Eddie 13. Kae Xiang 14. Teng Seng 15. Wei Ming 16. Kai Ming . After some hard work put in by Jon, Xing Han and Jared, we were already 4th. This was when my tactic worked out perfectly fine, with Bryan overtaking 2 others, which put us in 2nd position. It all seemed that our class was destined for the 2nd place, as I was preparing to receive the baton from Shaun. Michael from 2F got the baton first, and he blasted away. Once I got the baton, everything went smoothly, as though it was just a normal training. Just as I curved in at the 150m mark, I realised I was closing the gap and he kept on turning back to look at me. I thought it was the right time to whack and I started chasing him. With 80m left, I was already side by side with him and thought of pulling the gap for my class. In the end, I think I only led by a little, not sufficient enough for Arthur to keep on pushing for the first place. Arthur was overtaken and the race ended with 2J second. 2J rocks! I love you! This years soccer ball won from this race is for me to keep, as agreed, after getting none of them last year in the school cross country. Yea!

Leon is driving me mad. He insists that I find more sources, when there are in fact not many sources. He keep on saying, “You want us to die izzit?” I know we are going to get hell from Ms Teo as we dont have any books to refer to, but I am really trying my best. He gave himself the easier job, introductory chapter, which is just an expansion of the previous proposal, and gave me the whole literature review to do all by myself. And now, when I showed him my first draft of the review, he said it was all plain crap. Its really heartbreaking to hear someone keep on pointing out to you what is wrong with the review after spending tons of hours on them.

Luckily, after his scolding, I found another source, which might be a little useful. By the way, our topic for the Major Research Paper is Change in leisure travel patterns after Bali bombings.

I am now still left with a pile of homework to do, when my father is asking me try to read finish San Guo Yan Yi as soon as possible. He doesnt know that I am stuck with my Science worksheet and no one is there to help me. Jason tried explaining to me the differences between a descriptive writing and a narrative essay, which I didn’t really understand. Now I can only hope I am writing my descriptive essay on The Dentist’s Chair correctly. There is still Projects Day! Addiction, addiction. As the group leader, I cant slack and wait for the others to do. Must give Mr Chew a good impression of our project on Monday!

I am glad my tagboard is constantly being tagged, which means it is being visited, Hurray! Thanks everyone.

Yay! I got my layout and every other thing done! Thanks for those who helped me in the process.

Yesterday was the 2nd day of the heats. I prayed hard not to rain like on Tuesday, which resulted in the postpone of events. It was very excited during as it was the 1st time I am going to do a full 400m hurdles. During the 1 month training so far, we only tested out with 3 hurdles, never with 10. It was a comical evening. At first, only Kenneth and I registered for the event. The gold medal is mine! Haha.. I think Jackson didnt take part was due to his return to long distance. Just before the race, Stanley appeared. Alamat! 3 of us ran at different times as there wasn’t a sufficient amount of 30 hurdles. Mr Ram let Kenneth and I go first, as we were weaker and it would be more competitive in that sense. The fourth lane was for me and Kenneth took the third lane. “You are faster than I am, I rather start behind you and get to look at you running in front of me and then run a smaller bend later.” It started astoundingly fast and my mind just suddenly went blank! I just treat it as a normal training and started hurdling smoothly. But fatigue set in and I was tired by the 7th hurdle, which means there is still 150m before the finishing line. I almost stopped in front of the last few hurdles, but luckily still went past uneasily. Only after the last hurdle then I started hearing Kenneths footsteps and started sprinting like hell. In the end, he lost me by a mere 1sec, haha. I was wishing that Stanleys time wouldnt be faster than mine, if not, I am confined to a silver medal. After his wonderful run, I realized I couldnt get my 1st gold medal in my entire life, what a pity! I will work harder!

Today, I received my Chinese Ting xie back. I got full marks! 50/50! Its the 2nd time this year I am getting full marks. Before Ms Ho was announcing, I told Kai Ming that I will surely get full marks (although I am also not that sure myself). Seeing his astounded face makes me want to laugh. Training was pushed to today as tomorrow is Good Friday( Hooray!). This gave me the chance to see NYGHs heats. They were just like any typical girl shouting around here and there for their friends. What a nuisance they are( Haha).

National Junior 200m on Sunday and Sports Day 400m on Monday!
